Microsoft Office soon iPad?

The Microsoft Office suite is absent from the Apple iPad, but that could change soon.
According to information from The Daily, a source told the site that Microsoft is reportedly currently working at a port of the famous Office suite on the iPad from Apple.

It's a rumor that is not surprising given that the Apple tablet is around 80% market share. A possible benefit of Microsoft would be quite logical. In addition, it already offers versions of Office for Mac.

According to the same source, the iPad version of the suite would arrive later in the year 2012, which is still rather vague. It is however more accurate when she says that Office for iPad would be compatible with the service Microsoft Office 365 for storing and managing documents online.

The suite is composed of the publisher of several applications available separately, presumably Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Like what Apple already offers with its applications Pages, Numbers and Keynote. The price was modeled again on the practices of the company at the apple, with an amount of about 8 euros per application.
