The company Spotify announces the arrival of third-party applications to provide more features to its streaming music service.
Presented in the form of a cross-platform software and declined on the key mobile, service Spotify offers users access to a catalog of millions of songs and, through various subscriptions, to have an unlimited ad-free listening or even be able to synchronize playlists to make them available offline.
This weekend, several rumors evoked the arrival of third party applications and the company has confirmed this initiative via its official blog: "Spotify apps are a selection of funky and interactive applications integrated into Spotify, created by some of the best brands in the world. They offer new musical experiences to measure.
These applications come directly to stay in a new section of the left bar of the software. Among the amenities we find Last.fm to get personalized recommendations over the played tracks. RollingStone has also signed with Spotify to present a selection of regular albums, songs and playlists selected by the editorial staff of reference. The news is available via the application while the Fuse music reviews are from The Guardian.
Eleven partners are also well presented with Soundrop, Songkick, Pitchfork, We Are Hunted, TuneWiki, Moodagent or Billboard. The company says that other titles are coming.
