The iPad 2 costs 336.60 $

Now that the iPad 2 was dissected by the iFixit team, we have a clear idea on the price of components that fit the latter.

Not surprisingly the most expensive part of the iPad 2 remains the 9.7-inch widescreen. This screen alone costs  127$, price is certainly justified by the exceptional smoothness of it, about 27% thinner than the iPad 1!

Not surprisingly either memory comes second most expensive components fitted iPad 2. Manufactured by Samsung, it costs  65.70$ for Apple.
Finally be aware that critics back camera of the iPad 2 are perhaps justified. That is the cheapest present on the iPad 2 since it costs $ 4.30!

Overall, the manufacturing cost of the iPad 2 is more expensive to manufacture that Apple iPad 1. However Apple keeps a fairly comfortable margin!
